The saloon is run by Laxmiji and employees only the members of the marginalized LGBTQ community. Find below a brief coverage about the same. Transgender people are often not accepted in their families and their society, and find it difficult in getting a job, forcing them into sex work and begging. According to a National Human Rights Commission study, it was found that about 92% of transgender people are denied the right to participate in the country’s economic activities. Those who manage to get jobs end up losing it because of a hostile workplace.
The salon will provide its services to everyone but will be run and managed by transgender people only.
Access to clean and safe drinking water is essential for healthy and sustainable communities. The APCC Water Project works to address water scarcity in areas where residents have limited access to safe drinking water, particularly in villages and outskirts of urban areas.
ASR Services provides dedicated and trained manpower to support the smooth and efficient operations of this important project. Our staff are involved in water distribution, Water ATM operations, site management, cleanliness and maintenance, customer assistance, and day-to-day field activities.

The VillooPoonawalla Foundation supports and manages several schools, an ultramodern multispecialty hospital, a city wide sanitation & waste management project called ‘Clean City Initiative’ as well as provides clean drinking water to more than 35 locations in several villages neighboring Pune. The VillooPoonawalla Foundation trusted us and give us opportunity to hire employees from various category. The foundation has undertaken “The clean city project in Red light area only in BudhwarPeth” project. This activity not only provides healthy environment but also promotes social inclusiveness generating income for the waste pickers, create new job opportunities for sex workers.
Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative is an environmentally sustainable initiative, undertaken by Serum Institute of India and Mr. Adar Poonawalla as a contribution towards social responsibility.
The aim is to keep the streets of the city clean and to ensure that more and more cities adopt it to make Urban India becomes cleaner, greener and healthier. We have provided our manpower for clean city project to keep the streets of the city clean. We have employed 500+ employee for this project.
